Statement regarding the attack on Novartis Hellas headquarters
Athens, February 26, 2018. – Violence, in any form, is absolutely condemnable and always acts against the public interest.
The safety of employees in the pharma industry, the protection of the workplace and of business activity must be self-evident in a state governed by the rule of law.
The delivery of justice, the shielding of institutional functions, the smooth operation of businesses and full support to patients’ needs are non-negotiable demands that can only be ensured by the constitutionally enshrined democratic institutions of the State.
