Condolences of the pharmaceutical industry for the loss of Dimitris Kremastinos
Halandri, May 8 2020.– The Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (SFEE) expresses its deepest sorrow for the loss of former MP of KINAL, former Minister of Health and Professor of Cardiology Dimitris Kremastinos and, profound condolence to his family.
Dimitris Kremastinos was a prominent scientist with a contribution to Medicine and Public Health, as well as a politician who honored his country. Above all, though, he was a wonderful man. The name of Dimitris Kremastinos was associated with the operation of the most important cardiac clinics in the country, the strengthening of the EKAB, the operation of the air ambulances, the creation of OKANA, the introduction of telemedicine, the reformation of the Psychiatric Hospital of Leros, the establishment and support of the Hospital of Rhodes.
The President of SFEE, Mr. Olympios Papadimitriou, noted: “Dimitris Kremastinos gained the appreciation and trust of the Greeks, through his continuous social, scientific and academic presence, his teaching and research work, his ethos, his dignity and his hard work. His absence leaves an unfilled void in science and politics. My deepest condolences to his family.”
