“proSfEEroume” supports Agia Anna High School in Evia with educational and pharmaceutical supplies

Athens, March 18, 2025.– As part of the social responsibility initiative “proSfEEroume”, which aims to support vulnerable areas of the country and socially disadvantaged groups while promoting awareness on diversity and health education, the Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (SFEE), in collaboration with the Hellenic Red Cross (HRC), visited Agia Anna High School in Evia on Monday, March 17, 2025. During their visit, they held an educational session on mental health first aid, with a particular focus on issues affecting students, such as school bullying and juvenile delinquency. During the visit, SFEE provided the school with pharmaceutical supplies, healthcare products, consumables, and stationery, addressing the documented needs of the school community.
The strategic partnership between SFEE and HRC under the “proSfEEroume” initiative has been active since late 2016. To date, it has contributed to distributing pharmaceutical materials, consumables, essential supplies, first aid kits, school materials, toys, and craft supplies across 15 regions of Greece. This initiative has supported 17 facilities, accommodating over 300 children and 700 individuals from vulnerable social groups, including people with disabilities, the elderly, and chronically ill patients. In addition to material support, the initiative includes educational seminars on first aid and volunteering and mental health first aid activities.
HRC President Dr Antonios Avgerinos, stated: “The Hellenic Red Cross proudly joins forces with SFEE in actions that aim to strengthen social cohesion and protect vulnerable population groups. This new initiative highlights the importance of education and mental health, helping to create a safe and supportive environment for students.”
SFEE President Mr. Olympios Papadimitriou, added: “Our collaboration with the Hellenic Red Cross is an example of how human compassion can be transformed into meaningful action. Every child deserves to feel safe, protected, and empowered to face life’s challenges. Through the ‘proSfEEroume’ initiative, we support children not only by providing material supplies but also by fostering mental empowerment. Taking care of our health, contributing to our community and embracing the value of volunteerism are ideas that deserve to be kept alive and reinforced. We hope that our initiatives continue to contribute to this goal.”
